Our focus on these low stress traits ensures our product is tender, flavorful and healthy. Our beef quality always grades prime or choice.
Then we use our own forages and grains to grow healthy, tasty, nutritious beef. No added growth hormones or fed antibiotics.
At Bow Creek Farm, we utilize the Red Angus Association of America’s USDA Process Verified Feeder Calf Certification Program (FCCP tags) to guarantee Genetic, Age & Source Verified Red Angus beef. You’re assured of what it is, how old it is, and where it came from.
Red Angus Beef from Bow Creek Farm is PA Preferred and BQA Certified, so you can be confident in knowing that our Red Angus beef was raised with the utmost care, and fed all natural ingredients – producing a superior beef product. These standards along with our personal care set our product apart from commodity beef.
While finishing, our animals are fed a nutritious blend of free choice hay, alfalfa, and our proprietary finishing ration to ensure a rich taste and marbling. Animals are processed locally at Smucker’s Meats LLC where, according to our specifications, the entire carcass is dry-aged for a minimum of 21 days to naturally tenderize and enhance the flavor.
