At Bow Creek Farm we start with the best Red Angus genetics.
Like Black Angus, Red Angus are known for high marbling and tenderness traits; but are also known for their calm disposition, efficiency of weight gain and calving ease. Our focus on these low stress traits ensures our product is tender, flavorful and healthy. Our beef quality always grades prime or choice. You know it’s Red Angus because we utilize the Red Angus Association of America’s USDA Process Verified Feeder Calf Certification Program (FCCP tags) to guarantee Genetic, Age & Source Verified Red Angus.
Then we use our own forages and grains to grow healthy, tasty, nutritious beef.
Our pasture raised cattle are fed a nutritious blend of free choice hay, alfalfa, and our proprietary grain ration during the finishing phase to ensure a rich taste and the marbling you expect. We raise our animals according to proper Beef Quality Assurance protocols to ensure correct animal care, handling, and management practices. Be confident knowing our Red Angus were raised with the utmost respect and care, and fed all natural ingredients – producing a superior beef product. Our cattle are processed at local USDA Inspected facilities where, according to our specifications, the entire carcass is dry aged for a minimum of 21 days to naturally tenderize and enhance the flavor.
